Unique Barek Orzech Bookcase from the 1960s after renovation

The subject of the sale is a unique, multifunctional piece of furniture from the turn of the 1950s and 1960s. It combines the functions of a spacious chest of drawers, a closed bar and a glass library case. The furniture has undergone a comprehensive renovation in the SkarbyPRL studio.

HIGHEST CLASS VENEER
What definitely distinguishes this piece is the material used. The fronts of the furniture are covered with noble walnut veneer arranged using the mirror reflection technique. It creates an extremely rare, symmetrical pattern, the so-called "flames" or "cathedrals". This is a feature typical only of the highest quality furniture from that period.

LAYOUT AND FUNCTIONALITY
The furniture is one, coherent block, designed for maximum usability with a small depth (does not clutter up the living room):

- Bottom: two spacious cabinets, with three doors.

- Top left side: closed bar.

- Top right side: display spaces for books or glass.

- Middle: two practical drawers.

TECHNICAL CONDITION AND FINISH
The furniture has been renovated from scratch. Old varnishes were removed and the surface was protected with high-quality hard oil. Thanks to this, the veneer regained its three-dimensional depth, the wood "breathes" and has an elegant, satin-matt finish. The coating is resistant to moisture and everyday use. The locks are functional. The interior is clean and refreshed.
