Renovated shop window, bookcase, 1950s, Polish People's Republic, art deco

A bookcase from the 1950s of the Polish People's Republic, made in a style reminiscent of Art Deco - rounded sides of the doors and low, wide legs.

The lower part has two doors locked with a key and the upper part is a display case with sliding glass doors - the original glass has scratches resulting from 70 years of use. A glazier could probably polish these scratches, but we can only renovate wood.

The furniture has been cleaned of old varnish and protected with hard oil, which highlights the beautiful grain of the walnut veneer. To us, the pattern on the door reminds us of the Atari logo, but someone may have different associations.
