A spectacular low display cabinet originating from the 1930s. Perfect as a unique TV stand or hallway console. Veneered in highly figured oak and set on classic turned bun feet. It features exquisite, rounded corners made of vertical glass slats. Fully restored in our workshop and finished with premium eco-friendly hard wax oil.

Jewelry-Like Details – Slatted Glass Corners
The absolute highlight of this cabinet is its curved corners. Instead of using a single piece of bent glass, the transparent curves are constructed from multiple delicate, vertical glass slats. This was an incredibly labor-intensive artisanal technique during the 1930s, acting like a crystal prism that brilliantly refracts light. The central section is enclosed by smooth-gliding sliding glass doors.

Striking Oak & Uncompromising Restoration
The top surface and sides are covered in oak veneer showcasing a very strong, expressive, and decorative grain pattern. The cabinet has undergone a comprehensive restoration in our specialized workshop (SkarbyPRLu):

• All old, degraded varnishes were meticulously stripped down to the bare wood.

• The oak was stained to a warm, rich tone and finished with premium hard wax oil.

• This modern, high-end treatment protects the wood against moisture and daily use while providing a stunning, natural satin-matte touch. The interior, featuring a sturdy wooden shelf, is flawlessly clean and odorless.
