A spectacular, impressive in size (140 cm wide) Art Deco hanging display cabinet from the 1930s. An original upcycling project of the SkarbyPRLu studio. The furniture delights with original, milled glass lamellas, a new mirror increasing the depth and luxurious walnut veneer. Ready to hang in an elegant living room or dining room.

We present a project that you cannot ignore. In our studio, we believe that outstanding design from decades ago deserves a second life and adaptation to the needs of modern interiors. This huge (140 cm wide) extension from the 1930s was completely rebuilt and revitalized by us, becoming an independent, luxurious hanging cabinet in the style of streamlined Art Deco (Streamline Moderne).

Jewelry details - Original, milled glass
What makes this piece of furniture an absolute museum-class unique piece is the original glazing. The rounded corners of the display case are made of narrow glass lamellas. Each of them has a precise, hand-milled floral motif. In addition, the sliding windows closing the front also have elegant, horizontal cuts. It is a demonstration of the incredible skills of pre-war glassmakers, which is extremely rare today.

Depth and light (New mirror)
To further emphasize the jewel-like character of the milled glass, we installed a completely new, flawless mirror surface on the back wall of the showcase. It reflects light and objects placed inside, optically doubling the space and creating a spectacular visual effect.

Perfection on every side (Veneered top and bottom)
The fronts and the powerful upper top of the furniture are covered with noble walnut, arranged by an old master in a symmetrical, mirror pattern.
With an uncompromising approach to renovation, we also took care of the bottom of the display case. It has been newly built and aesthetically finished. Thanks to this, the furniture looks perfect from every perspective - also when you hang it high above your head. This is not an amateur conversion, but professional upcycling.

The furniture has undergone a thorough revitalization:

- Old paint coatings were removed to the raw veneer.

- The whole thing was finished with the highest qualitymodern hard oil.

- The wood gained a noble, silky-matt shine and depth. color and is fully resistant to moisture, heat and everyday use.

- Solid, certified handles are mounted on the back - the furniture is ready for safe mounting on the wall.

How to use it in the interior?
The panoramic size of the display case makes it the so-called statement piece (a piece of furniture that sets the tone for the entire room). Perfect as:

- A hanging home bar above a chest of drawers in the dining room.

- A luxurious bookcase or a place for glass art suspended above a large sofa.

- An elegant, glass cabinet suspended above a wide TV.
