A spectacular, panoramic Art Deco wall-mounted display cabinet from the 1930s. An original upcycling project by the SkarbyPRLu studio. Veneered in premium European walnut and—crucially—professionally finished on the underside as well! It stands out with unique rounded corners made of delicate glass slats. Fully restored and protected with modern hard wax oil.

Pre-War Design in a New, Floating Form
At our workshop, we believe that outstanding historical design deserves a second life, adapted to the needs of modern interiors. This display cabinet is a perfect example of luxury upcycling. Originally, it served as the top extension of a massive, pre-war Art Deco sideboard (Streamline Moderne style). Freed from its heavy base, it has gained incredible visual lightness, becoming a fully independent, elegant wall-mounted cabinet.

Jewelry-Like Details & Noble Walnut
The silhouette of the piece immediately draws the eye to its curved corners. However, instead of a standard bent glass pane, these curves are constructed from dozens of narrow, vertical glass slats. This is a highly complex, labor-intensive pre-war artisanal detail that beautifully refracts light and adds a distinct jewelry-like quality to the furniture.
The top, front frames, and the interior back wall are covered in highly figured walnut veneer with a beautiful, symmetrical grain pattern. This wood serves as a perfect, warm backdrop for the items displayed inside. The central section is enclosed by smooth-gliding sliding glass doors.

Perfection from Every Angle (Veneered Underside)
We made sure this piece looks flawless from every perspective. Unlike standard amateur vintage conversions, the underside of our cabinet has been meticulously constructed and veneered in walnut. As a result, even when hung high above eye level in your living room or dining area, the cabinet looks luxurious and complete.

The cabinet has undergone a comprehensive revitalization process:

• All old, degraded varnishes were completely stripped down to the bare wood.

• The entire surface was finished with premium, eco-friendly hard wax oil.

• The wood now breathes, boasting a noble, satin-matte finish that highlights the depth of the grain. It is fully resistant to moisture and daily use.

• Heavy-duty wall mounting brackets have been securely installed on the back—the cabinet is 100% ready to be hung safely on your wall.
