Polish folding table (occasional/tourist) from the 1960s.
It was produced by the Furniture Industry Union, often by smaller plants such as Spółdzielnie Pracy "Drzewotechnika" or plants in Zadziel.

It is often called a "table". camping", but its workmanship (solid wood, veneer) proves that it was intended for small apartments in blocks of flats (M2/M3), where every centimeter mattered. Once folded, it could be slid behind a wardrobe or under a bed. This particular mechanism (wooden locks in the middle of the bottom of the tabletop) is very characteristic and appreciated for its simplicity and failure-free operation.

The magic lies under the table top
This is not an ordinary piece of furniture. Thanks to a clever wooden mechanism, the legs of the table fold completely flat, hiding in the outline of the countertop.

Do you have guests? You can unfold it in 3 seconds.

Need a place for yoga? You fold it and slide it under the bed or behind the wardrobe (after folding, it is only a few centimeters thick!).

Renovation and Finish
The table has been fully revitalized in our workshop:

- The beech wood structure and the veneered top have been cleaned of old varnish.

- We stained the whole thing in a warm, elegant walnut color.

- Protection: hard oil. Thanks to this, the wood is matte, natural to the touch and resistant to spills with coffee or water.

The furniture is stable, the mechanism works smoothly and securely locks the legs. Perfect for a studio apartment, a stylish balcony or as a side table in a vintage living room.
