Renovated TV stand or adapter, table with veins, PRL

TV table with veins - a very recognizable piece of furniture typical of the times of the Polish People's Republic. Produced in the 1960s and 1970s in several different factories and from various materials.

This piece is made of spruce wood (not furniture board) with walnut veneer.

The table has been renovated. The thick, yellowed chemically hardened varnish was removed, revealing the beautiful grain of the walnut veneer. The piece of furniture has been protected with hard oil - a very durable, resistant to moisture and hot glasses, a modern agent replacing varnish. Coniferous veins preserved in their original condition.
