Renovated bench, coffee table on round legs, Czechoslovakia, 1960s.

Renovated coffee table produced in Czechoslovakia in the 1960s at the Novy Domov Narodny factory.

The table top is 104 cm long and 50 cm wide in the middle, slightly tapering towards the ends. The tabletop is made of wood, not chipboard. It is covered with walnut veneer with a very original grain pattern. The slender, round black legs are unscrewed for easy transportation. The height of the table is 59 cm.

The furniture has undergone a comprehensive renovation. The old nitro varnish was removed and the surface was protected with hard oil, making the table resistant to hot cups, water or alcohol spills.
