Mid-Century Modern Asymmetric Nightstands – Walnut and Brass (1960s) Pair – set.

An extremely rare pair of mirrored bedside tables from the 1960s. The quintessence of Mid-Century Modern style. The furniture is distinguished by a geometric, asymmetric top, beautiful walnut veneer and preserved original brass details. The set has been fully renovated in the SkarbyPRL workshop, protected with hard oil.

Bedroom icons - A unique pair from the 1960s
A set that immediately becomes the main decoration of every bedroom. This is a pair of iconic, asymmetrical bedside tables from the Mid-Century Modern period (most likely imported from Western or East German factories from the 1960s). They are a perfect mirror image (left and right versions), thanks to which they frame the bed perfectly, introducing a harmonious, architectural rhythm to the interior.

Noble walnut and jewelry brass
The furniture bodies are covered with top-class European walnut veneer with a rich, swirled grain. The warm, golden-brown shade of wood contrasts wonderfully with the original, jewelry details. The cabinets have retained their original fittings: elegant, diagonal door handles, minimalist drawer knobs and slim, brass ferrules on the legs. These are the details that give the furniture a luxurious touch.

Thought-out functionality
Despite their neat and compact dimensions, the cabinets are extremely roomy and practical. Each of them has:

- An asymmetrical, open upper shelf (perfect for putting a phone or glasses).

- A practical drawer for small items.

- A spacious lower cabinet, closed with a door with a latch.

- Old, damaged varnish coatings were completely removed from the raw wood.

- We protected the surface with the highest quality hard oil.

- Thanks to this, the wood gained a noble, silky-matt finish and a natural appearance. The hard oil coating is fully resistant to water, stains and everyday use (you can place glasses of water on them without any worries). The interiors of the cabinets are sterile and refreshed.
