A highly versatile, compact (only 98 cm wide) Art Deco wall-mounted cabinet from the 1930s. An original upcycling project by the SkarbyPRLu studio. It features a unique three-zone design: sliding doors with floral engravings, and hinged side doors made of vertical glass slats. Walnut veneer finished with hard wax oil, completely veneered on the underside.

Compact Luxury – A Bespoke Upcycling Project
We are proud to present a piece that captures the true essence of 1930s Art Deco in an incredibly practical size. Originally the top extension of a massive pre-war sideboard, this piece has been expertly upcycled in our workshop into an elegant, floating wall cabinet. With a width of just 98 cm and a depth of 28 cm, it is the ultimate space-saver, perfect for modern apartments, bedrooms, or hallways.

Three Zones of Artisanal Glasswork
The absolute highlight of this cabinet is its complex, jewelry-like design:

• Central Zone: Features a glass shelf and is enclosed by sliding glass doors adorned with authentic, hand-engraved floral motifs.

• Side Zones: The gracefully curved corners are not fixed glass—they are independent, hinged doors with functional locks and keys! The glass in these doors is constructed from multiple delicate, vertical slats, an incredibly rare 1930s technique that beautifully refracts light.

Perfection from Every Angle (Veneered Underside)
The top and front are covered in premium European walnut veneer, arranged in a perfectly symmetrical book-matched pattern on the top surface. Unlike standard amateur upcycling, we completely constructed and meticulously veneered the entire underside of this cabinet. It looks flawless and luxurious even when hung high above eye level.

Premium Restoration
The cabinet has undergone a comprehensive restoration. All old degraded varnishes were stripped down to the bare wood. The surface was then finished with premium hard wax oil. This provides a natural, satin-matte touch, highlights the grain, and protects the surface against moisture and daily use. Heavy-duty wall mounting brackets are pre-installed on the back.
