Majestic Form and Transitional Design
We are proud to present a piece that will anchor and define any large living or dining room. This massive sideboard is a perfect example of transitional design, blending the architectural solidity of late Art Deco with the modern, asymmetrical functionality characteristic of early Mid-Century Modernism. Resting on sturdy, stepped block bases, it commands respect and admiration.
Hypnotizing Woodwork (Book-Matched Veneer)
The absolute masterpiece of this item is its woodwork. Both the front doors and the wide side panels are covered in a highly figured, premium veneer. The cabinetmaker utilized the "book-matching" technique, arranging the wood leaves to create a perfectly symmetrical, flame-like natural image. This mesmerizing, dynamic grain is completely unique and impossible to replicate.
Massive Storage – A Unique Asymmetrical Layout
With a generous width of 154 cm, this furniture is a dream for organizing your space:
Lower Sideboard: Features a surprising and modern asymmetrical layout. The left side houses a large door concealing a sturdy wooden shelf (perfect for taller items). The right side features a sliding-glass display section at the top, with a spacious double-door cabinet below.
Top Extension: A visually lighter display unit measuring 126 cm in width. The center is enclosed by sliding glass doors (ideal for displaying glassware or books), flanked by two lockable side cabinets.
All three locks are fully functional, and a universal key is included.
Uncompromising Restoration by EuroVintageRestored
The piece has undergone a comprehensive restoration in our specialized workshop. All old, degraded varnishes were meticulously stripped down to the bare wood. The surface was then finished with premium, eco-friendly hard wax oil. This treatment provides a natural, satin-matte touch that highlights the depth of the wood grain while protecting the surface against moisture and daily use. The interior is flawlessly clean.
