Renovated round, extendable oak table fi100, art deco

Round table with a diameter of 100 cm + insert 30 cm. Height 79cm.

The table is made of coniferous wood covered with thick oak veneer. The creator took advantage of the fact that oak, although one-colored, has different grains (denser and rarer) and arranged the veneer on the countertop in such a way that a very impressive star-in-a-ring pattern appeared. This type of patterns can be found much more often on walnut tables.

The table was probably produced in the 1950s by a high-class craftsman with the makings of an artist.

The furniture has been completely renovated. The old varnish was removed, the veneer defects were filled, the entire surface was refinished.

The countertop is now resistant to water, alcohol and hot cups, and after many years it can again decorate living rooms and participate in family celebrations.
