Chairs that need no introduction to fans of Polish design. We present you the GFM-57 model, affectionately called"Skoczek" due to its dynamic, jumping profile line.

It is a project ofJuliusz Kędziorek from the 1960s, produced in the Gościcińskie Fabryki Mebli. It is one of the best designed Polish furniture of the Polish People's Republic period, its form referring to the best Danish patterns (often compared to Kai Kristiansen's designs).

Why is "Skoczek" so unique?

Organic form: There are no random lines in this chair. The backrest seamlessly connects with the frame, creating a characteristic arch. The legs narrow downwards, giving the structure lightness.

Comfort: This chair doesn't just "look". Thanks to the wide seat and the backrest profiled at an appropriate angle, it is extremely comfortable.

Condition and Renovation:
The chairs have undergone a general renovation in our workshop:

The beech frames have been cleaned and stained a deep walnut, and then protected withhard oil. This brought out the wood grain and gave it a noble, satin finish.

The entire upholstery was replaced. The upholstery is a high-quality fabric with a gray braid - it perfectly matches dark wood and vintage style.
